Tony Conte

Tony Conte has worked at Toronto Metropolitan University (TMU) for almost 23 years.  Over the course of his career at TMU he has served in numerous roles and departments, including Human Rights Services, Student Affairs, Human Resources, Office of the Vice Provost Students and the Office of the Vice President Administration and Operations. Prior to joining TMU Tony worked at Western University, Carleton and McMaster.

Currently Tony serves as the Executive Director for the Office of the Provost and Vice President Academic. Tony is well known for his passion for student success, problem solving skills, motivating style of leadership, and his ability to build and maintain positive relationships with students, staff and faculty across campus. Tony is the inaugural recipient of the President’s Blue and Gold Award and has also received the Julia Hanigsberg Make Your Mark Award.
