____________________________
Clubs of the LIFE Institute span a wide assortment of
subject/interest areas -- as diverse as the active seniors
involved in the clubs. Clubs also encourage the development of
leadership skills because they are self-managed.

____________________________
Do you have an activity around which to organize a club? Here's
what you might do:
- Get the support of like-minded enthusiasts within the Institute
prior to setting up a steering committee
- Get committee agreement on goals
(self-education? stewardship of others? community action?)
- Decide on frequency of meetings, fee structure (if any)
- Take the proposals to the LIFE Board (via the curriculum
chair)
Links (as above) to the existing LIFE Clubs:
Visit the site of each or any of these clubs to learn about
its events and schedules; to become a member; to communicate with
them.
