Community Outreach

We partner with community groups throughout the Greater Toronto Area to offer STEM enrichment activities, mentorship and experiences. Some of the community outreach we’ve done in the past include:

  • After-school programming at community centres
  • Youth mentorship through special projects or career exploration
  • Event booths at community events
  • Guest appearances and activity facilitation for youth groups, clubs, etc.
  • Activities for summer camps and daycares

In order for SciXchange to participate or partner with a community organization, the program for which we would be supporting must be offered for free to the participants. The community outreach we do is guided by our principles of equity, diversity and inclusivity.
