ENT 401: Design Thinking Bootcamp
Each year, Toronto Met brings 15 students taking ENT 401 and several coaches for the week-long APE International Design Thinking Bootcamp experience at the Strascheg Center for Entrepreneurship (SCE) (external link, opens in new window) in Munich, Germany.
This intensive week-long course is a hands-on experiential learning opportunity for multi-disciplinary teams to implement agile rapid prototyping methods in a creative space. Students work in teams of 4-6 to ideate, observe, prototype and test products, services and/or business models towards a specific challenge such as Future of Retail, eMobility, or Food Innovation. Students will receive instruction in design thinking methods and coaching by experts in the field to help them implement these methods. It is intended that this course will help you acquire and practice the key skills and competencies of Design Thinking including user-centricity, pro-activity, teamwork, creativity and experimentation. It is an intensive experiential learning course that takes place in Munich, Germany.

TMUEI supports student teams as they build clean drinking water solutions in India & Egypt, geodesic hydroponic farms in the Arctic, learning gardens in Peru, and co-operative banks in Africa.
eBridge Alliance
TMUEI is a founding member of the eBridge Alliance, a global entrepreneurship network of mentors, educators, students, start-ups and experts. Students can find and build international teams and join incubators in other countries.
