Heather Driscoll
As Chief Enterprise Risk Management Officer, Heather Driscoll leads the University's enterprise risk management program, reports to the Board of Governors on the University’s top risks and advises senior leadership on how these risks may impact the University’s strategic plans and priorities. Heather also advises and guides the University on institutional resilience strategies through the development of a business continuity plan and program.
Heather returns to GCBS after time with the Vice-President, Administration and Operations, and the Chief Strategy Officer, designing and building the enterprise risk management program. Heather has a background in access-to-information, privacy, policy management, governance and compliance. Heather holds a Ph.D in Canadian History from the University of Alberta. She holds the CIPP-C designation from the International Association of Privacy Professionals and the Associate Business Continuity Professional designation from the Disaster Recovery Institute.
