Heather Wood London

Heather Wood London is Senior Legal Counsel in the Office of the General Counsel and Board Secretariat at Toronto Metropolitan University.  Heather is responsible for providing legal advice, support, and practical guidance to senior management and university clients in the areas of labour, employment and related fields of law.

Heather has previously worked in private practice and as in-house counsel, providing guidance in both unionized and non-union environments. In addition, she has held corporate leadership roles in the field of labour relations and human resources, most recently with the Canadian Broadcasting Corporation, where she was responsible for leading the Industrial Relations portfolio for English Services across the country. Heather holds an LL.B. from Queen’s University and a B.A. (First Class) from the University of British Columbia. Heather was called to the Bar of Ontario in 2006.
