Engineering Programs
Bachelor of Engineering in: Aerospace, Biomedical, Chemical, Civil, Computer, Electrical, Industrial, Mechanical, Mechatronics, Undeclared (first-semester studies only)
Prerequisite courses for Ontario Secondary Students:
The Ontario Secondary School Diploma (OSSD) or equivalent, with a competitive overall average in your top six (6) Grade 12 U/M courses and competitive grades in the following prerequisite courses:
- English (ENG4U/EAE4U)
- Advanced Functions (MHF4U)
- Calculus and Vectors (MCV4U)
- Physics (SPH4U)
- Chemistry (SCH4U)
Grades: An average of 80%* or higher, and at least 70-75% in each prerequisite course.
Architecture Program
Bachelor of Architectural Sciences
Prerequisite courses for Ontario Secondary Students: (OSSD) or equivalent with a min 6 Grade 12 U or M courses in:
- English/anglais (ENG4U/EAE4U preferred)
- Physics (SPH4U)
- Mathematics [one of Calculus and Vectors (MCV4U) or Advanced Functions (MHF4U)]
- Note: The minimum grade(s) required in the subject prerequisites (normally in the 70% range) will be determined subject to competition
Grades: Overall average of 70%* establishes eligibility for admission consideration.
Non academic requirements:
Applicants for the architectural sciences program are also required to submit a portfolio, an assessment fee and to follow detailed submission instructions ahead of the application deadlines.
* Actual minimum grade ranges required for fall 2025 admission or wait list consideration will be determined based on grades and qualifications presented by the applicant pool as they become available. Required grade ranges may fluctuate from year to year (up or down) as a result of competition.
All other applicants:
- Out-of-province students (Canadian secondary school student outside of Ontario)
- International Students (Canadian studying abroad of international student on a study permit)
- University and college transfer students
- Other applicants

After you submit your application, TMU will send you an acknowledgment email. Follow the link in the email to activate your TMU online identity and access your ChooseTMU Applicant Portal.
ChooseTMU is where you can review your application status and find letters from us, including your Offer of Admission.
Using the ChooseTMU Applicant Portal, you can submit required documents such as:
