SRC Awards
(Deadline November)
- Recognizes outstanding achievement in scholarly, research and creative activities and impact on disciplines during the previous academic year
- Recognizes researchers involved in projects and research undertaken as part of a multi-disciplinary or multi-institutional team.
Early SRC Career Excellence Award
- Recognizes researchers who are in the first five years of their academic careers to develop independent research programs
Knowledge Mobilization and Engagement Award
- Recognizes researchers who have communicated research beyond the University and had a significant impact in shaping evidence-based policy and practice
Sarwan Sahota Distinguished Scholar Award
- Recognizes outstanding contributions (long-term, cumulative or single instance) to knowledge or artistic creativity while employed at TMU
Social Innovation and Action SRC Award
- Recognizes researchers for a completed rigorous research project, typically with community partners, focused on advancing social goals
Award recipient(s) will receive a certificate of recognition and a monetary award of $2,000 as a one-time payment (subject to applicable deductions).
