Heritage Furoshiki

Heritage Furoshiki provides eco-friendly and multi-functional cloth alternatives to disposable gift-wrap. All our prints are digitally printed, ethically sourced, and manufactured with limited inventory in order to reduce textile and plastic landfill waste. I was inspired to create this company by the namesake itself- 'heritage'. Heritage is a cultural keystone that allows us to understand why we are the way we are. The custom of giving and receiving gifts is one intangible heritage celebrated as part of universal humanity for thousands of years, inherited from our earliest ancestors. When we give or receive gifts, we are confirming, establishing and strengthening human connection through practicing empathy. The gifts we give and receive all hold incredible meaning beyond the act itself that can last a lifetime for everyone involved, and Heritage Furoshiki can help consumers remember the timeless value of meaningful gifts while learning to be eco-conscious.
