Background Image

This component is used to display a large format image. This component can also display optional text.

Found in Side Panel > Components > Background Image. Can also be added as a Homepage Feature by going to a Homepage's Page Properties > Homepage Feature.

Required content:

  • Image: Minimum 2000 pixels, max size: 1 MB
  • Heading text: 100 character limit
  • Overlay text: 100 character limit
  • Optional buttons: 25 character limit
  • Optional: Micro animation

How to use

  1. In an open page, select the "Side Panel" button in the top left corner
  2. Select the Components button on the left
  3. Drag and drop the Background Image component onto the page
  4. Double click component to edit
  5. Select the Assets button on the left (above Components)
  6. Drag an image from assets on the left and drop it into the component
  7. Select your style under the “Display as” tab: 
    1. Style 1: Dark overlay + white text
    2. Style 2: White box + black text
    3. Style 3: Semi-transparent white box + black text
  8. Go back to Properties tab and fill in any of the following optional fields: 
    1. alternative text
    2. Image alignment on mobile devices
    3. Overlay text - heading
    4. Heading text format (H2-H6)
    5. Large font size (available with Style 1)
    6. Overlay text - body
    7. Horizontal and vertical alignment options
    8. Component height
    9. Animation
    10. Optional button(s)
  9. Select the check mark when complete
