Leadership Legacy

Student Life and Campus Engagement is hosting the Leadership Legacy Gala to honour outstanding student leaders who have made a meaningful impact through their community involvement, advocacy, and leadership efforts.

We invite you to participate by completing this Leadership Legacy nomination form (external link, opens in new window) , where you can recognize exceptional student leaders or initiatives at TMU. This is an incredible opportunity to celebrate the dedication, passion, and hard work of our TMU community. Whether it’s a student leader who has gone above and beyond in advocating for change, or a team that has successfully launched a new initiative or event, the Leadership Legacy Gala offers a platform to honour their contributions.

Your submission will be part of a dynamic showcase of student leadership, highlighting the efforts of individuals or teams for the broader TMU community to recognize and appreciate. This is a chance to spotlight those whose initiatives have fostered growth, inclusivity, and positive change on campus. The celebration will not only honour their achievements but also inspire others to step up, get involved, and contribute to the thriving campus community at TMU.

Please submit your Leadership Legacy application by the deadline of March 21st, 2025.

Why Should I Apply to Leadership Legacy?

Successful submissions will be displayed at the Student Experience Awards in April 2025. Each spring, the Office of the Vice-Provost, Students, celebrates student excellence and recognizes those who have made significant contributions to the university community. Being featured at the Student Experience Awards is not just an opportunity to showcase your accomplishments but also a recognition of your exceptional leadership and dedication to the TMU community. Your recognition at this event will highlight your commitment, hard work, and influence in shaping a vibrant university environment, inspiring others and serving as a testament to the transformative power of student leadership.
