Out-of-Province
If you are coming to Toronto Metropolitan University (TMU) from domestic out-of-province, you must apply for financial assistance through your home province or territory. If you need forms completed, email them to us in fillable PDF format at funding@torontomu.ca. Please make sure to email through your university email, along with your student number and the province you are applying for.
Not sure if you should apply through Ontario (for OSAP) or another province or territory? You’re eligible for OSAP if you meet the following residency requirements:
- You have always resided in Ontario, or
- Ontario is the last province you resided in for 12 consecutive months without being a full-time post-secondary student.
If you don’t meet OSAP residency requirements, check out the links below. Connect with us at funding@torontomu.ca if you have further questions.
Please note that out-of-province funding can take up to 20 business days for loans to be received by our institution and posted to a student's MyServiceHub account. To confirm if your funding has been received and posted, follow the instructions to Complete an Account Inquiry.
