Larissa Allen Employee Experience Staff Award Recipients
The Larissa Allen Employee Experience Staff Award is in recognition of Larissa Allen, former assistant vice-president, human resources. This award recognizes one individual who has improved employee wellbeing at TMU by engaging and supporting employees in ways that had a significant positive impact on the experience of staff and/or faculty.
The recipient receives a certificate and a one-time monetary award of $2,000 (subject to applicable deductions).

Heather Mercer
Office of the Provost and Vice-President, Academic
Heather Mercer has been with the Office of Zone Learning since its inception, overseeing the department's rapid growth in both scope and team. Though her role has changed and her responsibilities have expanded significantly since the early days of Zone Learning, Heather has remained a steadfast and compassionate leader to the continuously growing OZL team. She is vital to the department's function, mentoring and coordinating both student and full-time employees throughout the complex, 11 'zone' Zone Learning network with ease. Heather has also been the mastermind behind the popular and highly-successful annual Zone Learning street fair event.
