All students (both new and returning) must log in and complete the General Application in order to be matched with award opportunities for the new cycle, including Psychology undergraduate program awards. Jackman Psychology Undergraduate Excellence Award
This award is intended to support a Psychology undergraduate student who has demonstrated both academic accomplishments and an interest in using psychology for the pursuit of positive change in the world. This award is aimed at students who are planning to seek advanced graduate training in psychology or a related field.
Number and Amount: 1 award of $2,000

- Full-time Psychology undergraduate student at Toronto Metropolitan University
- CGPA of 3.00 or higher

Jackman Psychology Undergraduate Award for Black & Indigenous Students
This award is intended to support a Psychology undergraduate student who has demonstrated both academic accomplishments and an interest in using psychology for the pursuit of positive change in the world. This award is for students who self-identify as Black or Indigenous.

William Glassman Prize in Psychology
The William Glassman Prize in Psychology was donated by Professor Emeritus William Glassman of the Department of Psychology at Toronto Metropolitan University. Each year, this prize (a minimum of $500) will be awarded to at least one psychology undergraduate student. This award is intended to recognize those who work to support their community and community service.
Number and Amount: 1-2 awards of at least $500

Michelle M. Dionne Varsity Athletics Psychology Award
Dr. Michelle M. Dionne served as Chair of Psychology from 2016 until 2022. This award celebrates Dr. Dionne’s outstanding contribution as an academic leader, her commitment to equity and social justice, and her lifelong passion for athletics.
Number and Amount: 1 award of $1,000

- Full-time Psychology undergraduate student at Toronto Metropolitan University
- CGPA of 3.33 or higher

Psychology Year Awards
The Psychology undergraduate student who achieves the highest CGPA for the current academic year, for each year of study, will receive this award. There are two awards available to students in year 4 - one for thesis students and one for non-thesis students.

- Full-time Psychology undergraduate student at Toronto Metropolitan University
- Highest CGPA in each academic year

Psychology Scholar's Circle
Any Psychology undergraduate student who achieves a space on the Dean's List for the current academic year, and also has a CGPA of 4.00 or higher, will automatically receive this award.
Number and Amount: As many as there are students that fit the award criteria. No cash award.

Award Criteria:
- Full-time Psychology undergraduate student at Toronto Metropolitan University
- An average unit load of 4.0 courses for two terms is required for eligibility for the Scholar's Circle. Students who are registered with the Academic Accommodation Support must have completed a specified number of courses deemed by the Dean to be the equivalent of a full year of study.
- CGPA of 4.00 or higher
- On Dean's List for current academic year
- Clear Academic Standing

Canada Graduate Scholarship (CGS-M)
- Deadline to Apply: Submit application via the Research Portal by December 1st.
- Details: Note - this scholarship is to support students applying for graduate studies (at the Masters level). The objective of the Canada Graduate Scholarships-Master’s (CGS-M) Program is to help develop research skills and assist in the training of highly qualified personnel by supporting students who demonstrate a high standard of achievement in undergraduate and early graduate studies.

Ontario Graduate Scholarship (OGS)
- Deadline to Apply: Successful and short-listed applicants will be sent application instructions in February.

- Open to: 4th year A range undergraduate students considering pursuing graduate studies.
- Value: $15,000 per year.
- Details: Note - this scholarship is to support students applying for graduate studies. The Ontario Graduate Scholarship (OGS) Program provides funding to students in graduate studies at the master’s and doctoral levels. It’s a merit-based scholarship, with awards available to graduate students attending participating schools in Ontario in all disciplines of academic study.

Undergraduate Student Research Award (USRA)
- How to Apply: Instructions will be sent via email in late January/early February 2025
- Deadline to Apply: February 2025
- Details: USRA grants are meant to nurture your interest and fully develop your potential for a research career in health, natural sciences, engineering, social sciences or humanities. These awards are also meant to encourage you to undertake graduate studies by providing research work experience that complements your studies in an academic setting. The following grants will be available for application:
