PSY 700 Research Practicum
If you are a Psychology undergraduate student that is planning to apply to graduate or professional school (med, law, MBA) or if you would like to gain some hands-on experience with research in psychology, consider applying to participate in the PSY 700 Research Practicum.

Please note:
- All applicants are required to submit a Statement of Interest.
- A minimum CGPA of 3.00 and completion of PSY 411 (with a grade minimum of at least B or 3.00) are required to apply to participate in the Research Practicum.
- Students that are currently taking the PSY 961 Thesis Stream I are not eligible for the PSY 700 Research Practicum. However, students who are not currently taking PSY 961 can apply to PSY 700 and later apply to do the PSY 961/971 Thesis Stream.
How to Apply
After completion of PSY 411 (with a minimum B grade), students can apply to the department for permission to enroll in the PSY 700 Research Practicum following these steps:
- Firstly, you must review the Research Practicum Information Package to confirm that you meet the admission criteria.
- If you meet the admission criteria, you can then complete and submit a Research Practicum Application Form by the deadline indicated in the Information Package.
- The department will assess all applications and assign short-listed candidates to Lab supervisors. Lab supervisors will then interview short-listed applicants and choose the successful applicant.
Please take note of the deadline stated in the information package, as no late applications will be accepted.
