PSY 700 Research Practicum

If you are a Psychology undergraduate student that is planning to apply to graduate or professional school (med, law, MBA) or if you would like to gain some hands-on experience with research in psychology, consider applying to participate in the PSY 700 Research Practicum.

If you are interested in applying for the Research Practicum, the information package document is an essential read.
Please note that a minimum CGPA of 3.00 and completion of PSY 411 (with a grade minimum of at least B or 3.00) are required to apply to participate in the Research Practicum. All applicants are also required to submit a Statement of Interest.
How to Apply
After completion of PSY 411 (with a minimum B grade), students can apply to the department for permission to enroll in the PSY 700 Research Practicum following these steps:
- Firstly, you must review the Research Practicum Information Package to confirm that you meet the admission criteria.
- If you meet the admission criteria, you can then complete and submit a Research Practicum Application Form by the November deadline indicated in the Information Package.
- The department will assess all applications and assign short-listed candidates to faculty supervisors. Faculty supervisors will then interview short-listed applicants and choose the successful applicant(s).
Please take note of the deadline stated in the information package, as no late applications will be accepted.
