Accommodations
Academic Accommodation Support
Academic Accommodation Support provides confidential services to students who live with disabilities that affect their studies.
Test Centre Website
Do you need to schedule a make-up test or exam, or require accommodations when taking your tests or exams? Book your test or exam with the Test Centre.
Any student who experiences extenuating circumstances (health or compassionate grounds) that significantly impact their ability to meet specific academic obligations (i.e. attending a lecture or lab, writing an exam, submitting an assignment by the deadline) can submit an Academic Consideration.
Technology & Online systems
Academic Computing Labs
Central computer labs for general purpose are available for all students and they provide access to many software applications. Your school or department may have other facilities available for your use.
Computing and Communications Services (CCS)
This team provides services to support the information resource, computing and communications requirements of the community.
MyServiceHub Support
The MyServiceHub Student Center is an online system that lets you manage all aspects of your academic, personal and financial information at Toronto Metropolitan University.
LMS Support
D2L Brightspace will be the central hub where all of your class information will be posted.
Academic Skill Building
Tutor Match
TMU Tutor Match is a tool designed to help qualified students find paid work as tutors and to help students who would like additional, individualized, and course specific support find and hire tutors.
Study Skills
Study Skills and Transition Support helps all students to develop skills for test and exam preparation, time management, working in groups, giving oral presentations, and exploring different approaches to studying and learning.
Math Support
Individual drop-in tutoring, course-specific group tutoring, and facilitated study groups are designed to improve your math skills and support your success in math-related courses across all faculties. Email: slls@torontomu.ca
Writing Support
Writing Support offers individual writing consultations, workshops, writing groups, and online resources to help you improve your academic writing skills. Email: slls@torontomu.ca
If you are a multilingual student and want to improve your English language skills, you can participate in individual and group sessions and access classroom instruction to help improve your writing, speaking and listening, oral presentation, and reading skills.

Fresh Start is a Student Success Program designed for students who have been ‘Required to Withdraw’ from their program of study. It includes an 8-week skills-building course run by Learning Support called Fresh Start Strategies (CIFS 100).
