Abrar is a fifth year co-op student at the Ted Rogers School of Information Technology Management at Toronto Metropolitan University. She has served various roles throughout her time at Ryerson, including President of the Information Technology Management Students' Association (ITMSA), which is the course union of the Business Technology Management program.
"My experience as a BTM co-op student has changed my life and career in ways I couldn’t have imagined. Having completed five work terms, all in different industries, I was able to further develop the skills I learned at TRSM and apply them to the workplace. Working at the Ministry of Transportation, RBC, Deloitte, and Rogers, I got 20 months of real-world experience and a job offer post-graduation."
Abrar has also worked with various companies through the co-operative education program, including Rogers Communications, Deloitte, Royal Bank of Canada, and the Ontario Ministry of Transportation.
