Project Description

The goal of this project was to explore aspects of heritage and culture through Sacred Geometry. This project is fabricated from hundreds of laser cut black acrylic pieces and fused together to form a torso. The design of each piece is extrapolated from the breathing pattern of a square in Traditional Arabic geometric art.

Additionally the second portion of this project employs 3D printing to express formal qualities of the human body in distorted ways.
