Angelo Mangar
Junior Technologist
Areas of Expertise:
Printmaking, Filmmaking & Video Editing, 3D Modelling, Casting
Angelo Mangar (he/him) is pursuing a BFA in Production + Design at The School of Performance after completing his previous studies in architecture. His personal practice is a mishmash of various art making techniques that include but are not limited to screen and block printing, collage, and casting. Thematically, his work has examined contemporary ideas of queerness in relation to longstanding institutions such as the nuclear family but his practice lately has been consumed with his current fixation with mushroom and toadstool iconography.
Angelo helps with the day-to-day operations of the Design + Technology LAB, such as reviewing and processing Service Bureau laser cutting and 3D printing requests, assisting other LAB technologists with various tasks, and learning to operate the equipment the LAB has to offer.
