Pitman Apartment Declining Balance Meal Plan

Students working and chatting while eating a meal in a TMU dining hall

Exclusive to students living in a four or five bedroom apartment in Pitman Hall, the Pitman Apartment declining balance meal plan makes it easy to grab a fresh, made-from-scratch meal when you just don’t feel like cooking! With funds loaded directly onto your OneCard, students can grab a wholesome and delicious bite to eat at any of our dining halls and campus eateries, seven days a week.

How your meal plan works

Pay the drop-in rate for all-you-care-to-eat at the dining halls

At the Pitman or ILC dining hall, you can pay the $14.95 breakfast, $19.15 lunch or $21.80 dinner drop-in rates and gain access to all-you-care-to-eat. That works out to 79 breakfasts, 62 lunches or 54 dinners!

Meal plan funds are accepted at all TMU Eats locations

In a hurry? Your meal plan funds are attached to your OneCard, making it easy to swing by a campus eatery to pick-up your morning coffee, grab a snack in between classes or purchase a pre-made meal to go!

How much does the Pitman Apartment declining balance meal plan cost?

The Pitman Apartment declining balance meal plan operates like a debit card. You load $1,350 onto your card ($675 at the time of your residence offer and $675 on January 22, 2025) and every time you make a food purchase, the cost is subtracted from the dollar balance remaining in your account.

Balances on the TMU Eats Dining Dollars Fund remaining at the end of the term are carried over year over year. The TMU Eats Dining Dollars do not expire, are non-refundable and non-transferable.

Pay through two easy installments

Charges for your meal plan appear as two equal installments on your MyServiceHub account at the following points throughout the academic year:

  • Installment 1: Upon acceptance of your residence offer*
  • Installment 2: January 22, 2025

*A $35 administration fee and a $50 sustainability and health and safety initiatives fee is included in your first installment payment.
