Welcome to Toronto Metropolitan University! We are delighted that you have chosen the Ted Rogers School of Hospitality and Tourism Management to start or continue your higher education journey. The university and Toronto offer you many opportunities to gain a well-rounded educational experience. We encourage you to engage in campus life and studdnt associations.
As Canada’s premier Hospitality and Tourism Management School, we are committed to providing the resources and programs to assist you in your transition to university and get you started on your way to academic success. If you choose to, there will be opportunities to develop your leadership skills and learn to problem-solve effectively and efficiently, which will drive innovation. We will encourage you to be critical thinkers and provide opportunities to develop competencies to manage sustainable organizations in a diverse and multicultural environment.
But business is not the only thing. At Toronto Metropolitan University, we value a complete education: knowledge, skills, and ethics. In the words of Martin Luther King Jr, “we must remember that intelligence is not enough. Intelligence plus character - that is the goal of true education.”
Your next step is attending our HTM Academic Orientation on Tuesday, August 27th at 10:00 am. Orientation is mandatory for incoming students and allows you to get to know Toronto Metropolitan University and HTM. Please RSVP on the Orientation Events page. Make sure you know what other steps you need to take as a new student at Toronto Metropolitan University, and check out all the other Orientation events that TMU has in store for New Students.
