TedPoints

Our first-year students receive TedPoints for engagement beyond the classroom, with one TedPoint earned for each hour of engagement across our school.

Why Are TedPoints Important for Your First-Year Experience?

We recognize the importance of engaging beyond the classroom to enhance your first-year university experience. By accessing resources, building your network, and fostering a sense of community with fellow students and the school, you can make the most of your time here. Whether it’s a one-on-one session with a Career Consultant, Learning Strategist, or Student Advisor, participating in TRSS student group events, attending tutoring sessions or Bootcamps, or joining TRSM events, you’ll earn TedPoints for your involvement.

How to Engage and Earn TedPoints?

As you engage with our Ted Rogers School departments and the supports they offer, you continue to gain TedPoints. Visit their sites to see the different ways to engage.

Kevin Callahan, Chief Executive Officer, Uniblock

“This was probably one of the best events due to the advice and points he went over, it was very applicable to how I could go about my life!"

What to look for in a Company

Featuring Jordan Gabriel

"Learning how companies work and how to network—especially in unfamiliar settings—is crucial. The speaker shared a story about helping a woman at the airport, which led to casual conversation about her kid’s baseball team. That simple connection ended with her surprising him with access to a VIP room at the Cosmopolitan Hotel. It all started with small talk and finding common ground."

Navigating Co-op

Featuring Medhat Sedarose, Senior Manager, Co-operative Education

“Medhat Sedarose's personal experiences and motivation. I learned that you don't have to be the most experienced, collaborative, or smartest person in order to join the co-op program at TMU. The most valuable lesson is time management is key to success when entering the co-op program."
