Discover your strengths by completing a CliftonStrengths assessment to gain insight into your top 5 personal strengths. Learn about new areas of development and use your strengths to your advantage inside and outside of the classroom.

Gallup’s CliftonStrengths is a tool used to help you uncover your talents. When you know your strengths, it becomes easier to identify the classes and craft the careers that allow you to do what you do best.

How to Access the CliftonStrengths Assessment

STEP 1: Register for a Level Up Account

Click here (external link)  to register for your Level Up account.

STEP 2: Choose a TMU Leadership Course

After registering to Level Up, select and enroll in 1 of the 8 TMU Leadership courses. Courses include Active Citizenship, Interpersonal Communication, Self Management, etc.

STEP 3: Access Your FREE CliftonStrengths Assessment

Once enrolled in a course, you will gain access to your FREE CliftonStrengths assessment.

Note: If you have already completed the CliftonStrengths Assessment, log in to your Gallup account to review your assessment results.

During this 30-minute assessment, you'll see 177 paired statements and choose which ones best describe you. The assessment measures your talents, and your natural patterns of thinking, feeling and behaving - categorizing them into the 34 CliftonStrengths themes. The top 5 themes are available to you for free as a TMU student!

Now it's time to aim your CliftonStrengths at anything that comes your way.

Use your customized dashboard on the Gallup Access platform to find resources and tools that will help you learn how to do more of what you naturally do best.

You can also:

  • Use interactive tools to learn how to develop and succeed using your strengths.
  • Find a Gallup-Certified Strengths Coaching workshop at TMU to help unlock your potential and succeed in every facet of life. Upcoming workshops will be posted on ExploreTMU.
  • Join the Peer Leadership Coaching program and be paired with a Peer Coach who will guide you through a workbook filled with thought-provoking questions, enabling you to delve deeper into understanding your top 5 strengths.
  • Harness your strengths to proactively engage on campus and effectively communicate learned skills on LinkedIn as part of the Level Up Program (external link, opens in new window) .
