Message from the Vice-President, Research and Innovation

Our climate is changing, and the time for urgent transformative action is now. At Toronto Metropolitan University, researchers from across disciplines are driving initiatives to tackle climate change, build healthy environments and foster sustainability on a global scale.

Their pioneering work advances scientific knowledge while strengthening community resilience and equity and safeguards the health and well-being of those most vulnerable during climate emergencies. By mobilizing research into real-world climate action, they are shaping a more sustainable and just future for all.

In this edition of Innovation, I invite you to learn how our faculty are addressing the critical issues facing our society today while working towards a greener tomorrow.
