Larissa Allen Employee Experience Staff Award Recipients

The Larissa Allen Employee Experience Staff Award is in recognition of Larissa Allen, former assistant vice-president, human resources. This award recognizes one individual who has improved employee wellbeing at TMU by engaging and supporting employees in ways that had a significant positive impact on the experience of staff and/or faculty.

The recipient receives a certificate and a one-time monetary award of $2,000 (subject to applicable deductions).

Nick Asquini is an integral team member in Athletics who is not only a highly dependable, roll up your sleeves employee who works tactically to get a large volume of minutiae accomplished, but he's also a great delegator who develops his people. He's a very hard worker who deeply cares about his work and the mission of the department with natural strategic insights and highly attuned judgment. Nick prioritizes the principles of equity, diversity and inclusion in his work, has a great sense of humour, and, most of all, Nick is just an all around pleasure to work with.
