AVP International's Global Learning Award Recipients
The AVP International's Global Learning Award recognizes an individual or team (faculty or staff) who have made significant contributions to Global Learning at TMU. The recognized activity or leadership can take place either on campus or abroad.
Individual recipients receive a certificate and a one-time monetary award of $2,000 (subject to applicable deductions). Team recipients (a group of two to ten individuals) receive individual certificates and a total one-time monetary award of $3,000 (subject to applicable deductions) to be shared equally among members.

Mehrab Mehrvar
Faculty of Engineering and Architectural Science
Dr. Mehrab Mehrvar has had tremendously positive impact on education and Global Learning environment through training/mentoring graduate students and hosting diverse range of international visiting scholars for research and teaching, promoting the importance of Global Learning, developing innovative, high-quality, and academic relevant programs, and serving and supporting students to ensure their success, growth, and well-being within Global Learning programming. While helping them in professional life, well-trained graduate students and visiting scholars are the center of his research and academic activities. He has created an effective training environment that fosters students' excitement and commitment in research and provides increased research self-efficacy.
