Some positions in our department are contracted through GardaWorld Security Ltd. Minimum requirements for all positions at TMU are:

current standard first aid and CPR level C certification;
demonstrated comprehension of Canadian Criminal Code and Trespass to Property Act powers of arrest; and
basic Use of Force training.

External opportunities

These external opportunities are open to individuals not currently stationed at Toronto Metropolitan University.

Emergency Services Unit Guard	Lead response to rescue, medical and trauma emergencies on campus, providing high quality and patient care according to university standards. Work within your scope of practice and according to procedures, protocols, and medical directives where established.	$22.65/hour	Position filled
Investigator	Ensure the university operates with due diligence in the investigation and prevention of criminal activity with the goal of improving safety, recovering property and reducing opportunities for crime occurring on campus.	$22.65/hour	Position filled
Supervisor	Provide leadership, training and development to security guard on campus and act as a liaison with the TMU’s management team.	$24.93/hour	Position filled
