Toronto Metropolitan University’s Community Safety and Security department prioritizes the safety and security of students, faculty, staff and visitors as they move throughout the campus.

Denise Campbell leads the department as executive director. With over 26 years of experience spanning the policing and post-secondary field, Denise’s vision is one that is holistic and inclusive of all community members. Using a proactive approach to engage with individuals on campus, her aim is to ensure that every member of the community feels empowered to be a part of making the campus a safe place.
