The Minor in Public Relations will help students understand the role of Public Relations experts as they negotiate between the organizations they represent and the
media. Through theory and practice,
students will gain experience in the tools and ways of thinking that shape
stakeholder relationships.
The Minor is

This Minor cannot be taken in conjunction with the
Minor in Professional Communication or the News Studies Minor.
Bachelor of Journalism (BJourn) students may use a maximum of two JRN courses as credits toward the Minor in Public Relations. Where JRN and NNS versions of a course are available (indicated by an asterisk), BJourn students must take JRN version of the course.
Professional Communication (BA) students may use a maximum of two CMN courses as credits toward the Minor in Public Relations.
