Discrimination and Harassment Prevention

The Discrimination and Harassment Prevention Office provides a variety of services including education workshops, seminars and training sessions; confidential information on human rights complaint and complaint procedures including investigation and mediation; assistance with criminal harassment (stalking), assault or violence; and resource, material relating to human rights, equity and diversity. 

Our services are available to students, faculty, staff and contractors on campus. The Office does not advocate for any particular individual or group. It advocates for fairness and for a community that upholds the dignity and worth of all members. All matters are held in strict confidence.

The Office of Discrimination and Harassment Prevention Services is located at Room POD-254, enter from the second floor of Jorgenson Hall, 416-979-5349. The Discrimination and harassment Prevention Policy is available at www.ryerson.ca/equity/dhpspolicy

Office hours: Monday-Friday: 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
Evening appointments are available with advanced notice.


IMPACT U Workshop Series   

How to register: Registration is required for all sessions. Interested students, staff and faculty should go to http://www.ryerson.ca/humanrights/events-workshops/index.html to register for the section that best fits their schedules. Once registered, a confirmation e-mail with the location of the session will be sent to each registrant.

Workshops are also available upon request to groups of 10 or more. To request a workshop, please call 416-979-5349 or email dhps@ryerson.ca
