HOME Minors Finance Minor

Finance Minor

The Finance Minor will help to prepare students for careers in financial institutions and business.

The Finance Minor is not available to Business Management Program - Finance Plan students and Accounting and Finance Program students.

To receive the Minor, a student must complete six (6) courses from the following curriculum:

FIN 300* Managerial Finance I (or HTA 602 Financial Management for Hosp/Tourism)
FIN 401 Managerial Finance II
FIN 501 Investment Analysis
FIN 502 Personal Financial Planning (or FIN 562 Personal Finance)

Plus two (2) courses from the following:

ECN 606 International Monetary Economics
FIN 205 Islamic Finance
FIN 510 Small Business Finance
FIN 512 Risk Management and Insurance
