ACCOUNTING MINOR

The Minor in Accounting will offer future business managers and entrepreneurs an understanding of the accounting functions of a business. Courses selected for this Minor are intended to focus on the needs of managers and entrepreneurs.

The Accounting Minor is not available to Business Management Program - Accounting Plan students and students in the Accounting and Finance Program.

To receive the Minor, a student must complete six courses from the following course of study:

ACC 100 or ACC 110*

ACC 406 or ACC 410*

ACC 333

Three (or four) from the following*:

ACC 414

ACC 507

ACC 522

ACC 621

ACC 803

ACC 504* ACC 514 ACC 607    ACC 801
LAW 603 or LAW 529

*Students who have completed ACC 110 and ACC 410 do not require ACC 333, but will require four courses instead of three courses from the listing above.

** Only one of either ACC 504 or ACC 507 may be selected.

A maximum, of two core courses from the student's degree program, (either Required/Required Group/Professional elective) may be applied to a Minor.
