The Minor in Management of Information Systems and Telecommunications suits the need of students in a wide range of disciplines who want to add some depth in information systems and telecommunications. It provides a review of fundamental concepts of information technology with some emphasis on telecommunications and networks. As well, the role of information technology in organizations and the ways in which technology can be used to support organizational needs is reviewed. It offers electives in network management and also on emerging trends in the industry and environment such as de-regulation, new technologies and e-business.
The Management of Information Systems and Telecommunications Minor is not available to Business Technology Management Program students in any Plan.
