About the Journalism Fellowship
The Journalism Fellowship promotes collaboration and knowledge transfer between researchers and Canadian and international journalists, aiming to strengthen the communication of evidence-based knowledge on migration and integration issues. The fellowship provides a unique professional development opportunity for journalists across various media platforms, including digital, print, radio, and television, to gain the latest research insights in migration studies.
During their residency, fellows are given the opportunity to conduct their own field research projects, collaborate with an expert team of Canadian and international researchers, and engage with local stakeholders. This immersive program equips journalists with tools to enhance their reporting and fosters innovative approaches to bridging the gap between journalism and academic research.
