Paul Nathan
Paul Nathan is a globally recognized expert in real estate management, with over 25 years of experience managing mixed-use assets across North America, Europe, Asia, and the Middle East. His expertise spans Property, Facilities, and Asset Management, as well as Leasing, Development, Transactions, and Appraisals.
Currently at JLL, Paul manages a portfolio of over 1.5 million square feet for the Federal Government. In his previous role as Director and Head of Real Estate Management, he led a $60 million redevelopment project, overseeing all aspects including management planning, financial analysis, feasibility studies, contract formulation, and design reviews.
Paul was recently honored with the prestigious Certified Property Manager (CPM) of the Year Award by the Institute of Real Estate Management (IREM), a significant global accolade in the real estate industry. One of his notable contributions was his pivotal role in developing rental laws and establishing valuation standards for the Real Estate Regulatory Authority (RERA) in Bahrain.
His qualifications include the CPM designation from the Institute of Real Estate Management and the Real Estate Institute of Canada (IREM/REIC), the Certified Shopping Mall Manager (CSM) certification from the International Council of Shopping Centers (ICSC-US), and the title of Fellow of The Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (FRICS) from RICS-UK. Additionally, Paul has completed the Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) certificate program at the University of South Florida and earned an ESG certification from the Corporate Finance Institute.
Paul is the current President of the REIC Toronto Chapter and has served on the Curriculum Advisory Board and Ethics Committee at IREM-US. He is also an assessor for The Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS-UK). A passionate Formula 1 fan, Paul believes the sport teaches essential leadership skills such as teamwork, collaboration, communication, and decision-making.
