Ali Tharia MBA, B.Eng.

Ali is the Founder and Principal Consultant at Tharia Inc., a boutique management consulting practice based in Toronto, Ontario. He helps businesses expand globally, smoothly transition inter-generational leadership and transform exponentially. Ali is a change maker who is able to adjust his leadership style based on the needs of an organization. He is a board advisor when strategy becomes a priority and is operationally focused when a hands on approach is required.

Through his extensive work, he has developed, facilitated and implemented global growth expansion initiatives in Japan, Taiwan, China, United Arab Emirates, Qatar, and Germany. In the process he learnt the art of bridging cultural management divide across the globe.

During his 18-year multinational career with the Toyota Group, Ali received extensive training and development in Japan. He held various positions starting with spearheading a green field manufacturing plant and rapidly progressing to an Assistant Vice President role at Toyota Tsusho Canada. He has led 4 start-ups in Canada for the Toyota Group in Supply Chain, International Trade, Urban Mining and Tier 1 Auto Parts Manufacturing.

Ali has an MBA from Wilfred Laurier University, an Undergraduate Degree in Mechanical Engineering as well as a Post Graduate Diploma in Business Administration.
