Hiring Ted Rogers Co-op students allows businesses to apply for the Student Work Placement Program (SWPP) (external link, opens in new window) . This Federal program provides wage subsidies to eligible employers who hire post-secondary students in an accredited co-op program.

Employers hiring eligible students may receive a wage subsidy of up to 50% (to a maximum of $5,000) for each placement or 70% (to a maximum of $7,000) for each placement for the following under-represented groups: women in STEM, persons with disabilities, newcomers, Indigenous students and visible minorities.

For further information, visit the various Wage Subsidy websites below or connect with our Corporate Partnerships team.
