Lori-Ann Beausoleil , CPA, CA

Lori-Ann Beausoleil is a retired partner with PwC’s Forensic Services group and was the National Practice leader for the Regulatory Compliance and Ethics practice. She is a recognized leader in the area of regulatory compliance, ethics, governance, and risk management. She is a Chartered Professional Accountant and a Chartered Accountant with over 34 years of professional experience working with a variety of finance and operational teams.

Lori also specializes in the real estate industry working primarily with a variety of real estate investment trust (REIT) leadership teams in Canada and is a trusted advisor to many of the REIT executive management teams. She understands the business and brings a balance between strategy, compliance and process.

She also works closely with Boards to ensure they have the right information in order to provide the requisite governance oversight.

Lori is a past Board member of Ryerson University (now Toronto Metropolitan University) and will bring both a business acumen and knowledge of the university to the Council.
