Our Story
Mission Statement
The Tri-Mentoring Program’s educational priority is to mentor each student using their individual experience to find their sense of belonging on campus.
What We Do
Founded in 2001 as one of the first resources within Student Affairs created for equity seeking students, the Tri-Mentoring Program helped to retain marginalized and racialized students as they navigated the various systems at Toronto Metropolitan University. The TMP has steadily supported growth in student participation from 60 students at its inception in 2001 to 6000+ students currently. Over 30,000 students to date have benefited from the Peer to Peer Mentoring Program alone. We facilitate student's learning, leadership and employment through mentoring, getting students involved and having them meet other people.
