And that's not all - be sure to look at TMU Student Affairs for a full spread of the support services available and opportunities to get involved.
Parents and Families
Welcome to the Toronto Metropolitan University community! As your family member prepares for a new and exciting chapter of their life, you too may experience some changes.
The first year of university is a big transition for many students and their families. Whether your family member is going to live on their own, on campus, or commute from home, this sudden change of expectations and environment can be the source of anxiety or trepidation as well as excitement.
To ensure inclusion of all who would like to attend, we are providing childcare and are prepared to accommodate for any accessibility needs on an as needed basis. Should you require childcare or accessibility accommodations, please email sara.michelle.wong@torontomu.ca by August 22nd, 2022.
There are separate information sessions only for parents of students who will be living in residence on Move-In Day.
