Transformation Cafe - Unraveling Access: Transforming Education Through Critical Pathways

The Office of Social Innovation is launching a new event series titled Transformation Cafes. This will be a series of panel events exploring social justice approaches to accessing education and campus space.

What is access? What does access mean? Access for who?

Join us on December 4th for Unraveling Access: Transforming Education Through Critical Pathways. This panel discussion will critique inclusion into a normative system and explore these key questions. 

Hear from the following speakers: Multidisciplinary artist, Emkay Adjei-Manu, Professor of Design Studies in The Creative School at Toronto Metropolitan University, Dr. Layal Shuman, and former York University Sanctuary Scholar student and educator Vernetta Avril.
