Dorsa Hadadi, IRC 112. In this assignment we drafted our chosen case study space using AutoCAD and printed to-scale. The drawings contain sparse but precise information.
Dorsa Hadadi, IRC 113. An orthographic drawing of a compass with exact measurements in the scale of 2:1 using different line types.
Dorsa Hadadi, IRN 101. This assignment was about activating one of the senses in a 10'x10'x10' space. My design model activates the sense of "sight" using the rotation of layers, and emphasizing on the element of light and casting shadows. The model speaks to the visual sense using the light rays which beam through the gaps and holes on the roof and creates different patterns in the aisle when the light source is moved.
Michelle Lee, IRC 112. This object of this project was made by taking multiple photographs from the top of the room and cautiously constructing them to create a seamless plan view.
Nicolas Castiblanco, IRN 101. Throughout my life, I have always woken up disoriented. Since I can remember, I have always used glasses and now as an adult, contact lenses. Inherited from my parents, astigmatism is part of who I am and my daily life. This condition has delimited my perception of the world of how I live it and feel it when I have my glasses or when I don't. My sense of sight has never been perfect, on the contrary, I think it has strengthened my other senses by lacking their full ability and allowing me to see only double or triple. In this project I wanted to generate a physical and sensory journey that allows the visitor to be in my place, even for a short period of time. This experience is personal but it is not unique, all those who wear glasses or those who have been in situations where sight has been affected, can understand this experience. I seek to create a space that allows me to experience that moment of my routine when I wake up in complete darkness, disoriented and without my sight at 100%. Then, that first ray
