FAQ
You can register as a free agent or as a team through IMLeagues. For steps on how to register, please visit the "How to Register" section.
Free Agents are individuals who are interested in participating in Intramural Sports and Social Leagues programs, but do not have a team. After registering through IMLeagues, you can request to join a team for the sport of your choice. If you don’t get picked up by the team, a staff member will try to create a team of combining free agent individual together, if the league has space to add teams. After the registration period closes, you will be updated by a staff member about team placement.
Full-time Toronto Met Students, Toronto Met Staff/Faculty and Community Members with a valid One Card and TMU Recreation membership. For more information on eligibility please review the (google doc) Participant Handbook (external link) .
You are welcome to play on multiple teams as long as it is not in the same sport league. (Eg. A participant can only play on one soccer team during a semester regardless of whether it is on the Social or Competitive divisions.)
Once assigned to a team, you can find out about game details on IMLeagues. Your team page on IMLeagues will display your game day, time and location for any games that are scheduled.
To cancel a game if you cannot make it, please contact intramurals@torontomu.ca at least 72 hours prior to your scheduled game time. The more time we have to accommodate changes, it will make it possible to find a time to reschedule your game. Please note that if you default 2 games during a season your team will not be eligible for playoffs and risk being removed from the league permanently. For more information on defaults, please review the (google doc) Fair Play System. (external link)
