Our enriching Learn To Program is a comprehensive learning experience that opens doors to new skills and abilities. Unlike drop-in sessions, this program offers a progressive curriculum designed to equip participants with new skills and knowledge that last a lifetime. With a one-time enrollment fee, you gain access to learning the skill that best resonates with you. (Note: the fee will vary depending on the offering.) Dive into a world of possibilities with classes like cooking, dancing, self-defense, and more. Our diverse selection ensures there's something for everyone.

Our Learn To Classes are a well-organized, multi-week journey that ensures participants build a strong foundation in their chosen skill. Each week brings new insights and techniques. 

Our Learn To Workshops are a single day event, where you are immersed in a topic with in-depth hands on practice.

The skills you acquire during any Learn To Program stay with you long after the class(es) end, enriching your life and providing opportunities for personal development.

Embark on a rhythmic journey and let the passionate beats of salsa music ignite your spirit in our Salsa Dance Class! "Learn to Kathak" is a comprehensive course designed for beginners and intermediate students eager to delve into the graceful and rhythmic world of Kathak, one of India's eight classical dance forms. This course offers an enriching exploration of Kathak’s intricate footwork, expressive storytelling, and dynamic spins, providing students with a solid foundation in both the technical and expressive aspects of the dance.

Kathak not only enhances physical agility and grace but also fosters a deep connection with the rich cultural heritage of India. Through this course, students will develop discipline, artistic expression, and a lifelong appreciation for one of India's most revered classical dance forms.

This course is ideal for anyone with an interest in classical dance, Indian culture, or storytelling through movement. No previous dance experienced required - just an open heart and a willingess to embrace the rich cultural heritage of Indian.

Are you interested in strengthening your food literacy, building your food skills and becoming more confident in the kitchen? Then this Learn to Cook Workshop is the perfect way to develop all those skills!

Join TMU Recreation, Student Health & Integrated Wellness, MHSc students & the School of Nutrition as we teach you how to cook a quick and easy Chicken or Chickpea Buddha Bowl! At the end of all workshops, enjoy your hard work as everyone gathers to eat together… yummy!!!!!!!!

A bonus digital recipe book will be provided!

Bring takeout & tupperware containers to pack extras of your tasty creations to take with you!

LOCATION: On campus at the Daphne Cockwell Health Sciences Complex (DCC)

SIGN-IN: Please arrive 15 minutes early to sign-in as the workshop begins promptly at 11am.

A $10+HST Registration Fee is required.

Designed by women for women, or those who identify as women - cis or transgender. (Open to TMU undergraduate & graduate students only).

  • for maximum comfort workshop sessions are run during RAC Women's Only Hours & are capped at small sizes, therefore spaces are limited

Designed by women for women, or those who identify as women - cis or transgender. (Open to TMU undergraduate & graduate students only). Offered during women's only hours to maximize comfort. Ready to start your fitness journey? Join one of our Beginner Weight Training Classes, designed to introduce you to 5-6 beginner friendly exercises and the key fundamentals of strength training that every beginner should know in a supportive and encouraging environment. This class is perfect for those new to lifting weights and the weight room. First come, first serve. No registration necessary. Class sizes are capped. (Open to TMU undergraduate & graduate students only.)
