There are many exciting and dynamic career opportunities for graduates of the MA in Public Policy and Administration program.
Here are just a few possibilities:
- a policy or service delivery unit of a federal, provincial or municipal government department
- leadership role in a non-profit sector organization
- the private sector, particularly where private companies have extensive interactions with domestic or foreign governments
- international governmental organizations (e.g., UN, OECD, World Bank)
- international Non-Government Organizations (NGOs)
- a political aide to an elected official
- organizations engaged in public policy research
- interest group or advocacy organization
- community-based organizations, particularly those that interact with the federal, provincial, or municipal government
In addition to employment directly upon graduation, you’ll also be prepared to apply to law school or further graduate studies in disciplines such as Political Science, Public Policy, Public Administration and other fields.
