Tahmid is a final-stage Ph.D. candidate at York University's Environmental and Urban Change (EUC) department, specializing in critical human geography. He has over a decade of experience in the non-profit sector, tackling youth engagement and leadership issues in the city of Toronto. Moreover, he has been a research and teaching assistant at the university level since 2014 and genuinely enjoys teaching students and researching topics about migration, cities, and social mobility.
