Business Strategy Internship (BSI) program

In the Business Strategy Internship (BSI) program (external link) , during a four-month paid internship, students work under supervision on a project that will benefit the organization with the strategic work they complete. They gain valuable experience during this time. Internships can be extended up to six months, and can begin immediately once a partner organization and student submit a project proposal that has been approved by Mitacs.

$15,000 Mitacs BSI project (partner funding of $7,500; Mitacs matching funding of $7,500).

Student receives $15,000 stipend over four months.

Projects may be extended for up to six months; and must be stated in the application as applicable. Partners will pay an additional $3,000 per month, all of which will go to the student and will not be matched by Mitacs.
