John Price

John Price is a documentary filmmaker and cinematographer based in Toronto. He has collaborated on diverse feature projects with Bruce Macdonald, Charles Officer, Alan Zweig, Mina Shum, and on art projects with Shary Boyle, Daniel MacIvor, Su Rynard, Mike Hoolboom and many many others. John’s films have screened around the globe at TIFF, Rotterdam, NYFF, The Berlinale, CPH:DOX, MediaCity, Hot Docs, Oberhausen, Pamplona and in alternative venues from Museums like the Museo Nacional Centro de Arte Reina Sofía in Madrid to a lighthouse on the south shore of the St Lawrence river. He is a longstanding member of IATSE 667 motion picture photographers and builds vacuum tube amplifiers in his spare time.
