Eliot Wright

Eliot Wright (he/him) is a Toronto-based photographer and arts educator whose work focuses on the complexities of landscape, investigating notions of place and transition. His images stem directly from exploration: a desire to be present in the world, to look closely and to think about how spaces are shaped. Wright’s photographs have been exhibited in diverse venues in Canada and he regularly works as a commercial photographer for a wide range of clients. Born and raised in Newfoundland, Wright received a BFA, Major in Photography from NSCAD University and a MFA in Documentary Media at Toronto Metropolitan University.
